I work as a management consultant for arts and creative industries, and as a photographer and video maker.
Having originally studied photography I moved into film exhibition. This led to me being appointed as the first Head of Film / Senior Curator Film at the National Media Museum where I was responsible for creating Pictureville and restoring Cinerama. I then went on to open Harbour Lights Cinema in Southampton and re-open the Everyman Cinema in Hampstead.
In 2002 I moved back to photography becoming managing director of the AOP (Association of Photographers).
Since 2005 I have worked freelance, balancing management work with creative practice.
